Hi, I’m Bridget — an Iowa native turned Southern dweller with a lifelong love for the outdoors.
The stories I grew up with are what inspired me to become a whitewater kayaker, mountain biker, backpacker and outdoor enthusiast.
I studied cinematography and spent years creating and leading video work in both brand and academic environments. Over time, I saw how powerful clear, grounded storytelling could be not just for individuals, but for organizations as well.
I founded Roots & Motion to bring that same depth to established outdoor brands. Today, I work closely with companies to uncover the people, process, and purpose behind what they build. The result is a cohesive body of films and imagery that feels true to who they are and continues working long after production wraps.
